Pterygium
Pterygium is a growth on your conjunvtiva, or whites of your eyes, that is made up of a flesh like tissue that has new blood vessel growth. Pterygium usually grows from a pinguecula formation and can grow to cover a large portion of your cornea which would obstruct your vision. Like pinguecula, pterygium symptoms can range from mild to severe.
